Anodizer II (Weekend shift)

Work Shift: Friday, Saturday & Sunday - 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM Position objective Produce components using various metal finishing processes in compliance to blueprint and work instruction specifications. Essential job functions Rack products according to SOPs. Operate the equipment in the area to produce product to specification requirements. Understand and use all measuring equipment. Complete all paperwork as required including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers and data. Effectively understand, communicate, and follow all verbal and written instructions Work with little supervision under the direction of a supervisor, team leader, or more expert personnel. Communicate ideas, problems, and concerns to management. Minimum qualifications High school diploma or local equivalent (i.e. GED) required. Minimum of two (2) years of experience working within a manufacturing or related environment. Knowledge of processes and equipment in an industrial setting with exposure to working with chemicals or handling of chemicals desired. Basic math shop knowledge. Ability to read and understand blueprints Physical requirements Good eye and hand dexterity. Able to bend, lift, sit, and stand for long periods of time. Required lifting weight; Minimum of 35 pounds. Lifting frequency: Daily. Must pass Respirator Fitness Test. Position proficiencies Maintain clean, neat and safe work environment. Must wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) while performing work assignments. Maintain high quality and production standards. Work safely following all safety procedures and policies. Understand the use of chemicals and handle in a safe manner. Participate in a minimum of one (1) Kaizen event per year. Other requirements This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
