What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pilot Plant Process Engineer position at (USA) Chemical Technologies?
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Engineer to join our Pilot Plant team in our Sugar Land offices. The Process Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure maximum efficiency, quality, and safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and developing and implementing process improvements using computational fluid dynamics (CFD). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical engineering, pilot plant operations, process development, and CFD. What You Will Do: Design and implement manufacturing processes to ensure maximum efficiency, quality, and safety Develop and implement process control systems to monitor and optimize process performance Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and improve manufacturing efficiency Perform process simulations to identify potential process issues and develop solutions Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures, process flow diagrams, and process control plans Conduct root cause analysis on process issues and implement corrective actions Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and maintenance, to ensure smooth process operations Stay up to date with the latest process engineering trends and technologies to continuously improve processes. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 5 years of experience in process engineering in a manufacturing Strong knowledge of process design, process improvement, and process optimization Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills -Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
