We are seeking to hire part-time sports coaches to join our Preschool Fall Sports programs. Work is typically scheduled on the weekends, in 3-hour blocks, with three 50-minute classes in this period. Candidates must be willing to commit to the entire season of classes. This is an opportunity to not only inspire the next generation of sports enthusiasts but to also develop yourself as a coach or educator.
As a Preschool Sports Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for working with young children between the ages of 2 and 7. Coaches will lead the following programs: Parent & Me Squirts (ages 2 to 3), Sports Squirts (ages 3 to 5), or Senior Sports (ages 5 to 7). It is preferred that candidates have experience of working with children and a background in sports or physical fitness.
Successful hires will receive the full uniform and equipment needed for the role.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Previous coaching or teaching experience (preferred)
- A fun and bubbly personality to engage children
- Desire to learn and to improve as a coach
- Passion for working with infants and young children
- Enthusiastic about sports and teaching basic skills to beginners
- Ability to relate and communicate with children, parents, and co-workers
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Weekend availability

Spring work assignments to start in April with paid training hours throughout the winter.
This position requires consistent weekend availability with after-school hour availability desirable. Some midweek morning hours may be available but limited.
