Our Sustainability practice collaborates with clients and project partners to integrate successful green solutions into the planning, design, construction, and operation of buildings, reducing their environmental impact at every stage of their life cycle. We use whole-system thinking and leading-edge analytical tools to develop innovative solutions that balance economic, social, and environmental factors. Our experienced team offers sustainable design strategies, energy analysis, green building certification consulting, sustainability analysis, and upgrades for existing structures, along with education and training. The Role We have an opportunity for a Sustainability Intern or Co-op for our Sustainability Practice. Responsibilities Responsible for energy analysis, data visualization, tool development, and holistic sustainability considerations. Performing whole building Life Cycle Analysis for various projects. Assisting with analysis and documentation of various certification programs including LEED, WELL, Fitwell, Passive House, SITES, Living Building Challenge, and others. Development of project deliverables including but not limited to project reports and memos. Participate in project meetings, workshops, and charrettes. Qualifications Undergraduate or graduate student with a concentration in engineering or architecture. Excellent academic record. Experience in Energy Plus, Grasshopper, the Ladybug suite of tools, and the Adobe Suite is a plus. Experience/ familiarity with green building rating systems.
