What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baseball/Softball Umpire position at USABL?
The USABL Umpire Association (UUA) is looking for new and experienced umpires to officiate games in all areas of New Jersey, Rockland County, NY, Staten Island and Eastern Pa. With nearly 40,000 assignments expected for 2023 there will be plenty of work. To become an umpire with USABL, register by copy and pasting https://www.usabl.com/umpires into your url and join one of the largest umpire networks in the northeast. We will be hosting trainings starting in January 2023 to get you prepared for the Season.We're looking for men and women that will be at least 16 years old during 2023 who enjoy the game and who are looking to make some extra money. Here is a brief rundown: · Games are played 7 days a week (majority weekends)· Games will be assigned this year from 7U to college level· Competitive pay scale based on experience and level of games· Umpire as few or as many games as you would like· Equipment & UUA uniform required. Smitteez is our official supplier but you can get equipment anywhere.

Being an umpire with USABL gives you the greatest chance at making the most money as an umpire, other than MLB of course. Training will take place in South Jersey, Central Jersey, West Jersey/Pennsylvania, North Jersey and Staten Island.
