Time in Grade:
For entry at the GS-13 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-12 or higher grade in the Federal Service.
Specialized Experience: conducting and managing administrative, civil, and certain criminal investigations involving allegations of irregularities, fraud, conflicts of interest, and improprieties on the part of members of the military service and civilian employees and persons contracting with the agency.
In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirements, qualified applicants must also possess the quality of experience as it relates to how closely or to what extent an applicant's background, recency of experience, education, and training are relevant to the duties and responsibilities of the announced position. Candidates must clearly demonstrate the possession of competencies necessary to successfully perform the work of the position at the appropriate level to be qualified for the position. Applicants must describe how their experience meets the competencies within the body of the resume. No separate statements addressing competencies are required.

Additional Information
- Presents investigative findings, both verbally and in a written form, to DISA legal officials, to senior agency executives, including the Director and his staff, as well as other senior officials of the Federal government.
- Plans, organizes, conducts, and manages highly complex investigations of violations of DISA policies and instructions, and United States statutes and regulations.
- Identifies violations of Federal statutes, investigates wrongdoing, preserves evidence, ensures the Constitutional rights of subjects and witnesses during an investigation.
- Conducts and manages investigations with discretion since premature disclosure of evidence could impede the investigation or unjustly affect the reputation of innocent persons.
- Present the Fraud Awareness Brief (FAB) during New Employee Orientations (NEOs), all-hands meetings, and other outreach meetings.
- Analyzes and evaluates the evidence, distinguishes facts from hearsay, and provides reports of investigations.

- This national security position, which may require access to classified information, requires a favorable suitability review and security clearance as a condition of employment. Failure to maintain security eligibility may result in termination.
- This is a covered position and the person selected for this position must complete an OGE Form 450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report within 30 days of appointment pursuant to 5 CFR 2634.903(b) (DoD 5500.7).
- This is a drug testing position.

- A one year probationary or trial period may be required.
- Telework availability will be based upon the mission requirements and supervisory determination
