Duties

• Works under close supervision or a higher graded supervisor of higher grade who provides specific instructions for tasks to be performed.
• Takes orders from patrons for food and beverages. Ensures customers are satisfied in service provided and takes action to correct any problems.
• Presents menus to patrons and answers questions about menu items. Prepares checks that itemize and total meal costs.
• Maintains sales record. Removes dishes and glasses and wipes down tables and counters.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Conditions of Employment

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, to include a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI).
• Must be able to work during the hours of operation to include nights and weekends.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical is required for this position. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods as well as continually lifting and carrying items weighing less than 10 pounds.
• The dual compensation guidelines DO NOT apply to this position. All GS and NAF employees whether fulltime or part time are eligible to apply for this position.

• This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position.
• All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
  
  

Incentives and bonuses:

• Incentives will not be paid.
  
  

Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances and Differentials (on OCONUS Template, will read as "Foreign Overseas Allowances and Differentials):
