Area Of Consideration
- Works under close supervision or a higher graded supervisor of higher grade who provides specific instructions for tasks to be performed.
- Takes orders from patrons for food and beverages. Ensures customers are satisfied in service provided and takes action to correct any problems.
- Presents menus to patrons and answers questions about menu items. Prepares checks that itemize and total meal costs.
- Maintains sales record. Removes dishes and glasses and wipes down tables and counters.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Conditions of Employment
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, to include a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI).
- Must be able to work during the hours of operation to include nights and weekends.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical is required for this position. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods as well as continually lifting and carrying items weighing less than 10 pounds.
- The dual compensation guidelines DO NOT apply to this position. All GS and NAF employees whether fulltime or part time are eligible to apply for this position.
