If so, we have the perfect position for you. USEMCO Inc. is seeking a Materials Clerk to perform clerical administrative duties to support the day to day purchasing function.
1st Shift/Full-Time: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM; Monday - Friday
Competitive Starting Pay: $16 - $17/hr., BOE
Working Conditions: Not a remote position
Location: Tomah, WI 54660
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate and enter routine purchase orders into the computer system.
- Enter items received into the computer system daily to check items received against items purchased.
- Approve vendor invoices for payment in accordance with purchase order specifications.
- Expedite purchase orders with vendors to meet required date on purchase order. Advise production when there will be significant delays.
- Issue materials in accordance with bills of material specifications for the completion of work orders.
- Add and adjust materials based on actual usage reported from stockrooms.
- Process the return of incorrect and/or defective materials for credit or replacement.
- Perform clerical duties relating maintaining physical inventory records.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Requires education generally equivalent to 4 years of high school and 3 to 6 months related experience in materials processing clerical duties.
SKILLS and ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Read and interpret simple instructions and correspondence.
- Speak effectively with company personnel and vendors concerning materials inventory related matters.
- Perform basic calculations relating to inventory record keeping clerical duties.
- Apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed instructions furnished in written and oral form.
- Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers are essential for successful work performance.
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize.
