Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluates subordinate work performance and counsels subordinates on both work and administrative matters; assists management in identifying developmental and training needs of employees.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with other employees, provide input and constructive suggestions.
- Build rapport and productive working relationships with customers, vendors and other outside agents. Effectively represent company's and customer’s interest to maximize profits.
- Review work orders daily and ensures work performance is planned and coordinated according to schedule, quality, and budget objectives; manages productivity and enforces or modifies work procedures as needed; Monitor morale of personnel to personnel and endeavor to maintain a high level and “can do” attitude to maximize output per hour.
- Actively participate in the feedback and coaching process; conducts performance evaluations, training, planning, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems in accordance with USES HR policies, practices, and procedures; mentors employee as they progress through their career path.
Physical Demands:
- The employee is regularly required to uses hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift up to 25lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75lbs.
- The employee is regularly required to work in a high activity level shop environment including machines, tools, heavy equipment, chemicals, solvents, dusts and fumes, waste and extreme weather conditions.
