What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test & Eval Analyst 4 position at USfalcon?
We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Test and Evaluation Analyst 4 to work out of Ft Eustis, VA supporting the Aviation Development Directorate.

Essential Duties:
- Assist the Government technical team in the development of demonstration, test, and evaluation plans for use in simulation environments or flight test conditions. Generate, assemble, and brief substantiation documentation and risk assessments, and implement risk management strategies.
- Create individual test vignettes that include events, triggers, alerts, and threat behavior that exercise functional capabilities and advanced technologies under consideration. Recommend performance metrics and technical measures suitable to assess mission effectiveness of new capabilities and technologies being explored.
- Support conduct of simulation evaluations and flight tests; assist during pre-briefs, training of test subjects, post-briefs, and after-action reviews. Assist in coordination with external stakeholders for planning of test and evaluation events. Support simulation environment developers with scenario design and scripting. Support flight test range activities with pre-planning and test setup.
- Assist with post-test data compilation, data analysis, and generation of test and evaluation reports
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of DoD developmental test and evaluation practices, specifically as applied to assessing effectiveness of technology solutions for Army operational capabilities.
- Experience in development of test and evaluation plans applicable to aviation systems is required.
- Knowledge of measures of performance and measures of suitability to assess mission effectiveness of new operational concepts or new capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of military aviation operations is essential and use of unmanned systems teamed with manned aviation units is highly desired.
- Ability to design test vignettes with technical metrics to assess measures of performance and measures of effectiveness is highly desired.
- Familiarity with simulation and field experiments for pilot-in the-loop evaluation of new technologies is highly desired
Education/ Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent aviation experience is preferred
- Candidate shall have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
