Job Summary
This position exists to provide direct support
and management in the areas of Academic Affairs and outreach for the
CNHP. This includes the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs as a direct
report to that office. Often serving as a primary point of contact, this
position is a vital component in a coordinated effort to effectively
communicate with other staff and administrators across the University, as well
as CNHP faculty, staff, administrators, students, potential students, and
visitors.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists with activities and events related to student recruiting and retention and correspondence with prospective students; student scholarships, student progress issues, and classroom readiness.
- Designs College and School recruitment materials (print and digital), promotional items, and event flyers in collaboration with College Recruitment Specialist, Dean, Associate Deans, School Directors, Program Coordinators, and faculty as appropriate.
- Designs and creates College and School social media content in collaboration with the College Recruitment Specialist, Dean, Associate Deans, School Directors, Program Coordinators, and faculty as appropriate. Maintains College social media accounts.
- Provides support in event planning and assistance, correspondence with external organizations, and communication with faculty, staff, students, the University community, campus visitors, and other stakeholders.
- Selects, supervises, trains, and coordinates participation of graduate students day-to-day and the Student Ambassadors for the CNHP for recruitment events and interactive educational experiences.
- Works with the Associate Dean to support the schools and auxiliary units in connecting faculty, staff, and students to the appropriate resources. Provides support on credentialing, workload assessment, annual evaluation, the Promotion and Tenure process, and the College-level faculty awards process.
- Provides other administrative support to the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs as needed.
- Performs
other duties as assigned.
