Swing Shift Fabrication Leadman
USNR, a worldwide leader in sawmill machinery design and manufacturing, is seeking a Fabrication Leadman to join our Swing Shift, the Manufacturing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ASSOCIATED DUTIES:
· Lead a team of fabricators in a production setting
· Direct team members, inspect weld/fitment quality, identify problems, and correct as needed
· Fabricate heavy industrial weldments, ability to fit and weld required
· Participate in leadership meetings
· Can be required to assemble heavy industrial equipment
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Strong attention to detail
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to explain concepts clearly
· Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
· Minimum 5 years experience with TIG, MIG and stick welding
· Welding Certifications preferred
· Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
· Commitment to safety – must be able to work to safe standards as outlined by the company
· Reliable with a good work ethic
· Good rigging skills for heavy parts required
