Job Description :
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Insurance Verifier to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of insurance information, helping to facilitate seamless patient care and billing processes.
This in-person position requires a keen attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits for scheduled procedures.
- Accurately enter insurance information into the system and maintain up-to-date records.
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve discrepancies and obtain necessary authorizations.
- Collaborate with the billing department to ensure correct patient billing and reimbursement.

Required Skills :
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in healthcare administration or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in insurance verification, within a medical environment.
- Demonstrated longevity in previous roles; we value candidates with a stable work history.
- Strong knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and healthcare software applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
USPI complies with federal, state, and / or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
