Middle Tennessee Ambulatory SC is seeking a motivated FT PreOp PACU RN to join our team. Middle Tennessee Ambulatory SC is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.
Our center specializes in the surgical procedures: orthopedics, dental/Oral surgery, general, gynecology, podiatry, and pain.
The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op/PACU supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Assess, instruct and prepare patients prior to surgery
- Take and record vital statistics of patients to ensure readiness for surgical procedure
- Initiate IVs and ensure patients are informed about procedure
- Assess patients’ post-operative condition
- Monitor vital signs and other measurements of progress, meeting discharge criteria
- Log and chart all findings in patient files
- Monitor patients for condition changes, reporting any changes to physician
- Perform intervention duties during post-operative emergencies

Required Skills:
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted TN RN license
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Must have at least 1-3 years' previous experience in PreOP/PACU
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
- Must have current BLS and ACLS certification
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed

If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. Salary : $66,900 - $84,800
