We are currently in need of an OR nurse to join our staff.
The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities related to care of the patient experiencing an operative or other invasive procedure. Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field; candidates may be required to scrub and manage effectively the preparation of operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field as well. The staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric. Our scope of service includes orthopedics, podiatry, pain management, and eye surgery.
Required Skills:
- Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing and hold a current unrestricted license to practice in the State of South Carolina.
- Current American Heart BLS certification and experience working as a circulator required.
- BSN preferred.
