What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN PREOP/PACU - PRN position at USPI?

The Registered Nurse PREOP/PACU performs patient care in the Preop area, obtaining patient history and preparing patient for surgery. The Registered Nurse PACU perfoms patient care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.  The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to patients in compliance with, but not limited to Standards of Practice a defined by ANA, AORN, ASPAN and State Practice Act Standards and organizational protocols, policies, procedures and guidelines.

 


Required Skills:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current and active Florida RN license.
  • BLS & ACLS certification required.  PALS certificate preferred.

 


Required Experience:

Minimum one year RN experience in Preop/PACU preferred.
