OrthoArizona in Gilbert is seeking a Full Time Sterile Processing Technician to join our team! Our fast paced ASC is committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.
- Monday to Friday work schedule!
- Off on weekends and holidays!
Job Summary :
Anticipates the needs of the surgical team. Establishes and maintains sterile field during surgical procedures in the operating room.
Required Skills :
- High School diploma or GED required
- Computer skills, required
- CRCST or CSPDT certification preferred
- Must have 2 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician.
- Experience with all types of sterilizers.
- Knows operating room instrumentation.
- Organized in setting up operating room instrument tray.
- Understands operation of steam / gravity sterilizer.
- Understands Sterrad sterilizers.
- Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items is required
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
- Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians
