Are you a firefighter, police officer or EMT looking for additional work? Come work for us! UST recognizes and values our nation’s great First Responders, and we are actively seeking First Responders to work as Delivery Drivers on a part-time basis. You will receive an hourly wage and will be eligible for a $500 bonus for every 10 routes you complete, up to $2,000!
Delivery Driver Overview
As a Delivery Driver, you will use a box truck to deliver products or equipment to customers. You will work as part of a two-person team to make these deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Load, transport, and deliver products in a safe and timely manner
- Maintain paperwork to record deliveries and company provided DOT logbook as needed
- Communicate with customers and client representatives throughout the shift
- Must wear a clean uniform (company provided) each day
Schedule
- Each route is typically 8-10 hours starting between 4:00am – 5:00am. Work on your days off!
Requirements
- Valid driver's license in the state the Driver resides
- 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of DOT compliance, if not, training provided
- 21 years of age
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and MVR
- Able to safely walk, bend, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel daily
- Able to continually lift items weighing 150 pounds
