You Are

Display/USB/PCIe/SATA/ Compliance Support running compliance across multiple technologies (HDMI, eDP, DP, Type-C DP, USB, PCIe and SATA) using different HW/FW/SW configuration. During silicon bring up, EV team uses PythonSV scripts to run and tune signals. However, since PythonSV scripts are Intel restricted secret, certification centers and ODMs use OS to run compliance. This gap is covered in the ADVL lab by conducting compliance across Windows, Linux, and Chrome HW/FW/SW. In addition, conducting compliance using both PythonSV and OS ensures SI results used for the IP are consistent independent of SW stack use. (TODO TGL HSD where PythonSV scripts were wrong) During Customer product lifecycle, every HW milestone requires passing all PHY compliance tests before taping out new HW. ADVL lab enables platform teams to develop and debug the HW/FW/SW components required to achieve the passing results. The lab also enables driver engineers to develop and test driver code required for running compliance over OS.

The Opportunity

• Scope Installation, Maintenance, Calibration, and SW Support
• Scope/Equipment research and purchase
• Work with partner and ingredient teams for data collection, BKM, and BKC
• Work with domain experts (EV, SI) to analyze data.
• Work with customers to help with certification.
• Work with vendors for ordering the tools for the required testing.
  
  

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What You Need

• Hardware Level experience is required - Hands on with Display protocols at PHY level.
• Hands on with Signal Integrity Lab management experience - EE knowledge - HW schematics and HW reworks
• PythonSV and ITP
• Hands on experience with Windows and BKC
• Hands on with Linux shell and ChromeOS BKC
