You Are:
Solutions Architect with experience building enterprise IT solutions around Business and IT operations. The ideal candidate should Design architecture for large engagements and act as design authority. Design solutions involving multiple technology components after scoping out requirements for a client with large engagements. Candidate should have good experience in defining the overall technical architecture for enterprise and customer platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to liaise with technologists to C-level executives is key to be successful in this role.
The Opportunity:
- Identify opportunities for optimization of cost / time / asset utilization in complex projects and advise relevant teams accordingly where possible
- Identify and institutionalize best practices across multiple accounts and manage multiple customers and architects.
- Partner with UST Gamma to Create curriculum assessments training programs and courseware based on new service offerings / solutions
etc. - Validate the technology solution to ensure it integrates with existing client technologies by working with customers and other stakeholders
- Analyze application/ technology landscape process tools and arrive at the solution options best fit for the client, Articulate the cost vs. benefits of options to key stakeholders in customer base
- Participate in external forums (seminars paper presentation etc.) to showcase UST capabilities and insights
What you need:
- At least 13 years in IT with at least 6 years as a Solutions Architect
- Solution Structuring: Ability to use working knowledge of service offerings and products tools. and accelerators to carve out solutions for program/ POC / RFP for a customer based on their needs
- Requirements Management: Ability to use working knowledge of requirements management to identify deviations drive the creation of common standards such as design documents traceability matrix bridge documents analysis methodologies and solution artifacts. Partner with the customer to define their requirements / elicit requirements from solution envisioning workshop
- Architecture Concepts and Principles: Ability to use working knowledge to create architecture catering to functional and non-functional requirements reengineer existing architecture solutions under the guidance of seniors. Provide training on best practices in architecture under guidance
- IP Management: Ability to use working knowledge to build them appropriately into the overall product plan/schedules under guidance; identifying existing assets new concepts as IP.
- Use knowledge of Technology Trends to identify technologies and product relevant to UST in the short term (1- 2 years) within own area and multiple areas. Forecast trends on new solutions/products/ technologies required in UST. Create and review technology roadmap for the client.
Bonus points if:
- Solution Structuring: Demonstrates specialized knowledge of service offerings and products
- Requirements Management: Working knowledge of requirements (functional / nonfunctional) requirement analysis tools (such as functional flow diagrams activity diagrams blueprint storyboard) techniques (business analysis process mapping etc.) and requirements management tools (e.g.MS Excel and application lifecycle management tools
- Architecture Concepts and Principles: Working knowledge of standard architectural principles models and perspective (e.g. TOGAF Zachman etc.) integration architecture including input and output components existing integration methodologies and topologies source and external system non functional requirements data architecture deployment architecture and architecture governance
- IP Mgmt: Working knowledge of various IP management regulations and standards; their benefits constraints and applications
- Technology Trends: Demonstrates broad knowledge of technology trends related to multiple inter-related technologies
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by local law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.
Role Location: US Remote
Compensation Range: $114,000 - $135,000
