Responsibilities

Our UT Health Cancer Institute is seeking an experienced full-time Patient Accounts Representative for Tyler, Texas. We are looking for your experience, knowledge and patient care skills where you will be responsible for:


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Responsible for greeting patient's, scheduling appointments, and data entry of patient health information and demographics.
  • Charge entry, and collecting patient's due balances.
  • Responsible for daily closing and balancing of daily work, bank deposits and faxing to appropriate sources

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School diploma required

Experience:

  • One year customer service experience
  • Basic personal computer skills and comfort with Microsoft Windows operating system; database and word processing skills required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Organizational skills.

  • Patient record documentation skills
  • Strong time management skills
