Ultrasound/Echo Tech Opportunity at UT Health Quitman
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound/Echo Tech to join our team at UT Health Quitman. As a member of our cardiovascular team, you will perform Echo studies/procedures for patients utilizing ionizing radiation and treatment of disease.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Echo studies/procedures for patients
- Utilize ionizing radiation and treatment of disease
- Work under the general supervision of the site supervisor and in cooperation with the cardiovascular team
- Be available for overtime and call back as required by the hospital
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of patient care experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience performing Echocardiography studies
- Echo Registry eligible per ICAEL standards
- CPR Certified Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Registry in Adult Cardiac Ultrasound ARDMS or CCI or Registry-Eligible Registered Echocardiography Technologist
