Ultrasound/Echo Tech Opportunity at UT Health Quitman

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound/Echo Tech to join our team at UT Health Quitman. As a member of our cardiovascular team, you will perform Echo studies/procedures for patients utilizing ionizing radiation and treatment of disease.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Echo studies/procedures for patients
• Utilize ionizing radiation and treatment of disease
• Work under the general supervision of the site supervisor and in cooperation with the cardiovascular team
• Be available for overtime and call back as required by the hospital

Requirements:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of patient care experience
• Minimum of 1 year of experience performing Echocardiography studies
• Echo Registry eligible per ICAEL standards
• CPR Certified Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Registry in Adult Cardiac Ultrasound ARDMS or CCI or Registry-Eligible Registered Echocardiography Technologist
