Director Responsibilities
Guest Experience and Customer Relations
- Make sure guest have a memorable experience in Stanford, KY. This includes excellent customer service, good communication and coordination with the team, and advance planning.
- Creatively seek innovative methods to enhance the guest experience that aligns with the Vision and Mission.
Reputation Management and Branding
- Work with Marketing to track and manage the hotel’s brand and online presence.
- Work with KSS Sales Leader to attract Groups and Event Planner for hosting.
Revenue and Plan Management
- Work with Accounting to ensure invoices are submitted and paid timely.
- Define, Track and report Key Performance Indicators.
- Seek avenues for growth.
- Create competitive pricing strategies.
- Identify and implement ways to improve inefficiencies.
Be an excellent Coach
- Meet often with the Lead Housekeeper making sure that role is being managed well and the Housekeeping Team is meeting expectations.
- Make sure to be a good example by continually learning and advancing personally and professionally.
- Take an active role in recruitment and hiring; Identify and Reward Talent.
- Establish a way to Communicate with and train the team using Core Values and Customer Experience.
- Work with HR and Training on areas of team member retention and engagement.
Relationship Development
- Work closely with the KSS Sales Leader to develop and maintain relationships with organizations, companies, and non-profits.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, team members, and vendors.
- Partner with internal Shared Services Team to create efficiencies and ensure smooth operations of the business.
Sales Growth
- Dedicated to our vision for sales growth through excellent customer experience, group retreats, and experiences.
- Dedicated to growing group sales for Wilderness Road Hospitality.
- Maintain knowledgeable of products and services offered by our Family of Companies.
Customer Satisfaction
