On-Site Data Manager

Description

Utility Metering Solutions is currently seeking full-time assistance with data processing in Ann Arbor, MI . The Onsite Data Technician performs data entry of information to maintain database(s) through custom software. This position is responsible for the accuracy, efficiency, and retrieval of processed data. The data entry technician will proof material entered as required and generate data reports as required.

The essential functions of this position include:

• Perform daily data processing, verification, and exception checking.
• Ability to both load and unload data from tablet devices.
• Perform both online and on-site QA/QC checks to ensure contract quality metrics are being upheld.
• Interact and work alongside the Project Manager to determine daily planning for installation employees.
• Review discrepancies in data received and pay attention to detail for ensuring data integrity.
• Have basic technological equipment skills.
• Have intermediate level Excel skills.
• Be able to perform intermediate-level analytic functions.
• Be highly organized, with excellent time management skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

The yearly salary for this position ranges from $35,000 - $45,000 per year ($18.00 - $20.00 per hour). This is a 2 year long project.

The Ideal Candidate

Requirements

• 2 plus years of related experience in a field tech/data support role; or, a combination of education & experience.
• A Valid Driver's License
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Must have your own vehicle and proof of insurance
• Must be in good physical condition and capable of bending, stooping, and lifting over 25 pounds
• Possess clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be able to:
  • Work outside in all weather conditions
  • Manage time and workload efficiently
  • Meet deadlines in a unique, everchanging construction-company environment
  • Communicate detailed data/technical information with various levels of individuals (in-person & via email/phone/message)
  • Work all required shifts (Monday - Friday work week and occasionally Saturday's)

Qualifications

• It is preferred that candidates have an Associate's Degree or Higher
• Familiarity with utility meters is a huge plus
