Exercise Specialist – East Madison Hospital – Part Time

Work Schedule: 

Monday – Thursday, 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. This is a 25% FTE position, day/evening shifts. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department.

We are seeking an Exercise Specialist to: 

• Supervise the daily activities of the Fitness Gym.
• Conduct initial interviews and evaluate new members to develop appropriate exercise prescriptions.
• Orient new participants to the rules of the facility.

Education:

Minimum – Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology or related field

Work Experience:

Minimum –Experience developing and teaching exercise programming to adults.

Preferred –Previous healthcare experience and Computer experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum – Current CPR/AED certification.
