RN - Urology Clinic - Triage

100% FTE, Monday - Friday with hours between 7:30am - 5:00pm. No weekends or holidays. You will train and work at University Hospital in Madison, WI initially and then transition to Eastpark Medical Center, our new state-of-the-art facility on the east side of Madison, once it opens in Fall 2024. This is a hybrid position with option to work from home at times after orientation (frequency varies).

We are seeking a Triage Registered Nurse (RN) in Ambulatory Urology to:

• Provide evidence based, high quality nursing care for patients via telephone and MyChart.
• Determine patient care needs by use of the Nursing Process as a framework for assessment and clinical decision making.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team for consistent and positive patient outcomes.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and families.
• Establish goals and strategies for meeting care coordination needs across settings with the patient, family, and/or other care providers.

Education:

Minimum - Graduate of school of nursing.

Preferred - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Work Experience:

Minimum - Six (6) months of RN experience.

Preferred - Relevant RN experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact. CPR/BLS Certification.

Preferred - Applicable clinical certification
