Nurse Practitioner – Oncology (Renton, WA) 1.0 FTE 

Valley Medical Center (VMC) is actively recruiting a full-time (1.0 FTE) Nurse Practitioner – Oncology to join our established, collaborative, and collegial team of providers. Our approach to patient-centered care is team-based. You will be working in the Oncology Clinic and the Infusion Center. When in clinic, you will have a dedicated Medical Assistant. The Commission on Cancer has accredited our program as meeting and beating their standards.

About the position:
  • Clinic Hours: 8a-5p
  • General Schedule 4 days per week (10 hours), no weekends
  • Average # of patients seen per day: 10-14 
  • Full clinic support is available and includes MAs in the clinic and a nurse navigator support for triage.
  • Palliative care is embedded in the Oncology Clinic
  • We have triage nursing, financial coordinators, and treatment authorizers.
  • PharmD embedded in the infusion center and the Clinic.
  • Support subspecialties with IR, GI, therapeutic and diagnostic interventionist, colorectal surgeons, and breast surgeons
  • Busy practice with lots of growth opportunities
  • Practitioners: 5 Medical Oncologists, and one Medical Oncology APP, one Gynecology Oncology APP and 2 radiation oncologists.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to obtain medical professional license in the State of WA and DEA with full prescriptive authority
  • At least one year of oncology experience is strongly preferred

COMPENSATION: $125,000 - $145,000

Amounts listed may include productivity, quality incentives, extra shift incentives as applicable to the position.
