V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Content Quality Tech for our premier client.

Education and Experience

• 0-5 years experience.
• Media background is helpful but not required.
• Troubleshooting experience is required.
• Some computer literacy experience is required.
• Some Production background who understand Video editing.

WHAT YOU’LL DO :

Job Responsibilities :

• Builds and maintains content partner relationships with their peers.
• Supports coordinators, ensuring that issues they identify are resolved.
• Detects and fixes missing metadata to ensure proper placement and display of video across platforms.
• Audits partner delivery (compare pitch list vs. received).
• Uses daily metrics report to react to and improve upon content partner or delivery issues.
• Verifies media and metadata are error-free. Works with content provider to resolve errors.
• Verifies that all media and metadata follow the current specifications.
• Ensures that all content is published in production within service level agreement.
• Receives and processes media and metadata from content providers.
• Troubleshoots or escalates issues that occur within the Video Operations value chain.

Additional Responsibilities :

• Basic editing of commercial content
• Monitoring of distribution platforms
• Preparing basic reports pertaining to distribution of content
• Answer basic emails and submitted tickets.
• Closing duties which include but are not limited to :
• Distribution of content to all required markets including affiliate partners for same day and next day air.
• Escalate issues to appropriate departments for content that is needed same day or next day air.
