What we're looking for

We are looking for a confident, customer focused, innovative, results driven person to help shape the future of our Expense Reimbursement Program. This role is responsible for reviewing expense reports and addressing / documenting areas of non-compliance and potential fraud. Instances of non-compliance will be analyzed and reported to make informed decisions on the improvement of our program. To be successful, you are someone who thrives in a high growth and dynamic environment who is ready to influence decisions to drive process improvement and mitigate risks.

What you'll do

  • Play a critical role in the adoption and reinforcement of our policies
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact for expense reimbursement programs, providing guidance and training to employees
  • Promote compliance by providing analysis, reporting, and recommendations to management and key stakeholders.
  • Assist the T&E team in developing an auditing program focused on increased controls to limit fraud and misuse
  • Compile auditing metrics to be used with management reporting and compliance training
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement, simplification, automation utilizing industry best practices and innovation technology
  • Other duties, as assigned

Skills you'll need

  • Coupa Expense module experience is a plus
  • Demonstrates the ability to make informed decisions through data analysis
  • Proficiency in auditing expense reports both pre and post payment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with ability to interact across the organization
  • Strong analytical skills to build reports and monitor KPIs
  • Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities and able to thrive in a fast growing, dynamic, changing environment
  • Strong internal customer service skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Reliable internet connection
  • 3 years experience in expense auditing and/or compliance
  • Experience in implementing or adapting audit strategies
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or experience equivalent

Working conditions

Ability to work from home and resides in one of the followings states: AK, AL, AZ, CA, CO DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MO, MT, NC, NH, NM, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, or WY

You'll be working in your home office setting. We hold virtual training sessions and weekly team meeting. Occasional offsite team meetings in your region or our HQ locations. Requires frequent, repetitive use of a computer, phone, and office equipment. Requires patient, professional communication with prospective clients, and the ability to build confidence with prospects.

Compensation

  • $45,000 - $66,000 DOE
