What we're looking for

The Pool Cleaner will monitor and clean the pool and sundeck area as well as all other bodies of water (Lazy River, hot tub, etc.) Enforce all posted rules and regulations. If required, sign in all guests and check for proper admittance. Maintain accurate records of pool cleaning, chemicals and usage. Assist in all facility cleanup of the pool and spa areas.

This is a seasonal position. We are hiring for this position now and employment is expected to end on or around 9/30/23. The company is under no obligation to extend your employment through the season nor beyond the end date. Hours can and will vary weekly and seasonally based on business needs.

What you'll do

• Maintain cleanliness of the pool and spa areas
• Manage and maintain chemical levels at safe levels
• Ensure pool rules as applicable

The skills you'll need

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• If required by state law, pool technician certification
• Organizational Skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Acquires job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks.
• Ability to read and comprehend routine instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to give high priority to customer service.
• Ability to solve problems with a minimum of supervision.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and a Can-Do, positive attitude towards all guests and staff.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
• Must be people oriented and able to work independently or with others as needed.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Computer skills and knowledge.

Work environment and physical demands

• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time
• Reach overhead and below the waist
• Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
• Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist

Compensation

• Piece rate (ranging between $10 and $60 based on service provided)
• $15 / hour for training, required meetings, and non-post reservation cleans
