Controller

Responsibilities:

• Cost Accounting 
• Direct and oversee the month end close functions of the company.
• Financial reporting
• Work directly with the leaders to report timely and accurate financial reports
• Maintain and report against annual budgets and multi-year forecasts. Perform timely analysis of budget/forecast variances and financial trends.
• Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with
• GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
• Monthly reconciliation of subledgers and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare and file timely and accurate payroll, sales, income or other tax returns and reports and related deposits.
• Strive for continuous process improvement within the department

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5 years of Full cycle accounting and finance experience.
• Experience in manufacturing / engineering preferred.
• Unimpeachable integrity and dependability. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of urgency.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
• Ability to manage time & work in a team management position.
