Job Description



Vaco Technology is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Analyst for a manufacturing client in Princeton, IL. for a 6-month contract to hire position paying between $25-30/hr. The client's intent is for this position to go permanent after the initial 6 months contract is complete.

This is an ONSITE IT Support role in a manufacturing environment where you will be supporting the client's internal employees who are primarily using Windows 10 and Office 365. You will have some Active Directory/Exchange responsibilities, some systems and network administration responsibility, as well as some daily desktop support duties(resetting printers, passwords, etc..). The client does have a first tier IT support department. This role will manage the problems that require secondary support as well as the plant's IT project needs.


Requirements include:



  • Minimum 3 years of desktop support experience (not just phone IT support)

  • Experience supporting Windows 10 and Office 365 (O365)

  • Active Directory experience (adding/deleting users, group policy)

  • Imaging experience (SCCM, Ghost, PWE, etc..)

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment preferred (Zebra printers, RF scanners, etc..)

  • Experience with Shell scripting or troubleshooting PL/SQL (Oracle) is highly desired

  • Positive attitue with great customer service skills and attention to detail
