RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and enhance repeatable automated solutions that facilitate the build, testing and deployment of software.
Design, develop, implement, and support containerization technologies, and infrastructure as code solutions.
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of release management solutions with various business and IT teams to ensure alignment with short-term and long-term business goals.
Diagnose and correct problems related to builds, deployment of artifacts, and environment configuration.
Pitch innovative ideas and POCs. Provide direction and/or assistance to project and support teams in evaluating technology solutions consistent with corporate strategies, architecture, and standards.
Proactively identify potential problem areas and define an action plan to prevent or limit the impact.
Administer the source code repository, continuous integration and continuous deployment tools, configuration management tools, code review tools, vulnerability scanning and static code analysis tools.
Establish and maintain application monitoring to ensure systems are healthy and performing within established service levels.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree with a major in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems; or equivalent knowledge and experience.
3 - 5 years of Information Technology experience, including DevOps or Release Management experience; and or combination of education, knowledge and experience required.
Experience with cloud technologies.
Broad knowledge of containerization technologies, CI/CD tools, configuration management tools, scripting languages, Linux and Windows operating systems, source code management tools, process automation, and Release Management best practices.
