Job Overview
Our client is looking to hire an experienced General Manager with prior P&L responsibilities within manufacturing to lead operations of their facility.
Responsibilities:
Direct and coordinate daily operations of the manufacturing plant with 100 employees.
Lead team to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
Develop processes to increase productivity and enhance performance with a focus on continuous improvement of operations.
Oversee all levels of staff activity and performance, coach direct reports on their objectives, performance, and leadership skills.
Ensure a high standard of manufacturing quality across all products.
Maintain a safe working environment and manage risk by ensuring safety standards are met and all risk management regulations are complied with.
Collaborate with Commercial and Engineering teams to develop and execute short-and long-term commercial strategy.
Work cross functionally across the organization to meet company objectives.
Qualifications:
10 years of operations experience with P&L responsibilities of $50-75M organization
Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is highly preferred!
Ability to build highly successful teams across operations, purchasing, and support functions.
Proven experience driving plant operational efficiency and maximizing profits.
Deep understanding of and commitment to safety requirements for operating plants
Strong aptitude for root cause analysis and Lean manufacturing experience.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and computer technology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong leadership and managerial ability. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
