JOB SUMMARY

Vaco Technology is currently seeking a SAP FICO Lead for a hybrid remote direct hire opportunity. We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Leader to support the finance business group throughout the financial process, from transaction recording to reporting.

• Responsible for leading cross-application projects, including designing and deploying new functionality for financial processes


• Lead the team to plan, organize, control, and support the financial organization


• Become a technical SME for SAP applications in Finance and FSCM domains


• Provide technical guidance to other team members on application and IT best practices for compliance with SOX compliance and IT governance controls


• Propose system documentation and update business process documentation and system configuration for new feature implementation projects


• Research and propose new technologies, tools, and operational support techniques


• Provide advanced technical support to the Corporate Finance Shared Services team in case of emergency or during critical monthly and quarterly closing periods


• Support cross-application projects including disaster recovery, upgrades, and support package implementation for financial functions

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; the ability to communicate up, down and across the organization


• At least 9 years of experience designing and implementing SAP systems worldwide. Multi-company, multinational, multi-currency configuration


• Experience in large-scale environments including financial accounting, asset accounting, banking, credit, and collections


• Integration experience with other SAP modules (MM, PP, SD, PS, CO), high radius and concur applications


• New Asset Accounting, CLM - Lease Management, and S4 Hana experience in finance is a plus


• Excellent project management skills; actively manage multiple complex projects and meet deadlines and project plans


• SAP Finance certification and experience migrating from ECC to S4 Hana is a plus


• Actively participate in relevant professional SAP forums, user groups, etc


• Product Owner skills to listen, understand, and help team members navigate project implementation


• Ability to interact with technical teams from Informatica, Alteryx, Blackline and non-technical business SME's


• Must be able to take a consultative/partnership approach with clients and perform difficult tasks with minimal supervision


• Ability to manage relationships with key internal business customers as well as IT colleagues and third-party vendors
