Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a data entry clerk and customer service representative. In this position you will be using software and email to enter incoming orders, resolve discrepancies, and respond to customer inquiries.

Duties:

  • Enter data from customer purchase orders to provide information to engineering
  • Contact customers regarding
  • Verify and correct any errors in piece count, weights, or heat treat information
  • Transcribe information from source documents into the appropriate format
  • Ensure data confidentiality and security at all times
  • Assist with other clerical tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other computerized systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage large volumes of data
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience in data entry or clerical work is preferred, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
