- Strategic Sourcing: Source and evaluate bids to secure materials, supplies, and services at optimal terms.
- Purchase Order Management: Issue and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy at every stage.
- Supplier Relations: Select and manage vendors, negotiating prices and terms for maximum value.
- Expedited Delivery: Ensure all orders are expedited and delivered on time, maintaining smooth operations.
- Performance Monitoring: Track supplier performance and cost savings, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Inventory Support: Assist in maintaining inventory levels and materials as needed.
- Communication: Coordinate with vendors and internal teams, disseminating information and resolving issues promptly.
- Emergency Response: Participate in the Emergency Response Team, a vital aspect of our commitment to safety and security.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or relevant experience; additional education a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience: Previous experience in procurement for oil and gas, maritime industry knowledge advantageous.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Certifications: Must possess or obtain a TWIC card and maintain a valid US driver’s license.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, prolonged periods of desk work.
