The Manager, Learning Management System will be responsible for the roadmap, user experience and system administration required to ensure online and instructor-led training programs run successfully throughout Vail Resorts. This includes LMS administration, program marketing, facility and materials administration.
Job Responsibilities:
- Co-develops a long-term strategy and roadmap for the LMS user experience to align with our leadership development culture
- Manages uploads online courses and create instructor-led course offerings in LMS, as well as testing process for all online courses
- Partners with HR Technology to enhance functionality including: process and quality improvements, feedback on usage and system defects
- Identifies and communicates opportunities for process and quality improvements, providing feedback on usage, challenges and suggested enhancements
- Leads overall governance for Talent Development support tickets, including establishing policies and process for standard SLAs, ongoing reporting and continuous improvement and manages LMS support tickets related to course/system questions and errors
- Serve as the project lead for a multi-year enterprise-wide digital employee experience project
- Develops reports and queries that are concise, intuitive and actionable for organizational users
- Develops and documents processes or policies as needed to establish consistent use of the system
- Managing POs/Invoicing for contracts and oversees vendor management
- Develops metrics and monitors impact of L&D activities to ensure effectiveness of delivery to the business
- Manages multiple projects and processes on time and on budget
Job Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an LMS administrator or in a similar position
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Familiarity with learning industry standards (eg., SCORM, xAPI, LTI, etc.)
- Technical skills including troubleshooting, and understanding of directory, file structures, and systems, as well as, the ability to gain new technical skills quickly
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with others at all levels of the organization as well as vendors
- Strong customer service skills, responsive attitude and a growth mindset
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex technical concepts in layman’s terms
- Experience with Saba Learning Management System is preferred
- Comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Works independently, takes the initiative and has the desire to achieve
The budgeted range starts at $80,000 - $97,700 annual bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
