The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing and executing daily accounting functions and will maintain accurate accounting records for the company.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generates accounting and audit reports for cash receipts, accounts payable and receivable, expenditures, and profits and losses
  • Reconciles and reports differences or issues found in financial records
  • Completes bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual state payroll reports
  • Process employee payroll accurately and on time
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with employees and customers regarding accounting related tasks
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with Quickbooks (desktop or online)
  • University degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Previous experience with government contracts
  • Previous experience with pricing/proposals
