Role Player/Civilian on the Battlefield (COB)
Valbin Corporation is a leading language service provider to the government and private sector and is dedicated to delivering superior linguistic, analytical and cultural services to the diplomatic, defense, intelligence and business sectors. Valbin is currently hiring Civilians on the Battlefield equivalent employees in support of a rotation held at Fort McCoy.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Civilian on Battlefield (COB) is an entry level position. The candidate will perform role playing work at a professional level for a U.S. Army field training exercise in order to facilitate realistic training in preparation for real-world events and scenarios the unit will likely encounter during contingency operations similar to a Guard I. COB will portray village life and background to enhance training realism for participating units. COB role players engage in minimal activity and require minimal training. Examples of completed work include: carry out instructions and procedures and portray roles that are primarily oriented to insure that emergencies and security violations are readily discovered when US troops deploy overseas, reported to appropriate authority. From time to time the individual will represent civilian guards that are injured/contaminated by a simulated explosion or chemical release, creating real life scenario for the troops to be prepared in handling civilians when deployed or assigned in their overseas missions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a Role Player (Civilian on the Battlefield) portray village life and background to enhance training realism for participating units
- Engage in minimal activity and require minimal training (4 hr. prep training/orientation)
- Possess and maintain minimal physical fitness standards
- Observe and implement all military safety requirements while performing within their assigned role scenario
- Maintain in character throughout the duration of scenarios
- Follow provided scripts to enhance the realism in scenarios
- Required to remain on site for the duration of the exercise

- 18 Years or Older
- Available beginning of July - mid August 2023
