What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant position at Valdes CPA & Advisors PA?

We are seeking a Bookkeeper/Admin Assistant to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success. Position is Part-Time and there is flexibility in the weekly schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft correspondences and other formal documents
  • Greet and assist onsite guests
  • Answer inbound telephone calls
  • Assist with billing and collection
  • Assist with bookkeeping
  • Respond to IRS or FLDOR Notices
  • Process (Mail or Fax) Income Tax Returns, Sales Tax Reports, and Payroll Forms
  • Perform all other office tasks such as order office supplies, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
  • At least one year of experience working with Quickbooks would be a Plus
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be bilingual (English and Spanish is a must)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • ​Strong organizational skills
  • Team Player

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • QuickBooks: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Salary : $18 - $25
