What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant position at Valdes CPA & Advisors PA?
We are seeking a Bookkeeper/Admin Assistant to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success. Position is Part-Time and there is flexibility in the weekly schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Draft correspondences and other formal documents
- Greet and assist onsite guests
- Answer inbound telephone calls
- Assist with billing and collection
- Assist with bookkeeping
- Respond to IRS or FLDOR Notices
- Process (Mail or Fax) Income Tax Returns, Sales Tax Reports, and Payroll Forms
- Perform all other office tasks such as order office supplies, etc.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
- At least one year of experience working with Quickbooks would be a Plus
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be bilingual (English and Spanish is a must)
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Team Player
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- QuickBooks: 1 year (Preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (Preferred)
