Vale Group is excited to collaborate with a distinguished entity in the financial services sector located in Visalia, California, who is on the lookout for an experienced Accounting Manager. This role is an onsite position with a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on the candidate's expertise. This individual will play a pivotal role in steering the organization towards its commitment of enhancing financial stability and expanding opportunities across all community segments.

Requirements for the Accounting Manager role:
  • A minimum of five years of leadership experience in an accounting setting with leadership experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Certification or licensure relevant to the accounting field is a plus
  • Proficiency in modern accounting software and systems (experience with Jack Henry preferred)
  • Skills in financial analysis and reporting are crucial
  • Adeptness in overseeing accounting operations, including but not limited to accounts payable/receivable and general ledger management
  • Financial services / regulatory background required
    • 
Accounting Manager responsibilities include:
  • Spearheading various accounting operations, enhancing process efficiencies while maintaining accurate accounting practices in line with GAAP
  • Management of financial documentation, analysis, and reporting
  • Execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and overseeing the annual budgeting process
  • Coordination of regulatory reporting and collaboration with external audit entities
  • Implementation of internal audits to ensure policy and regulatory compliance
  • Supporting the team as required, fostering an environment of growth and collaboration
