Vale Group has partnered with a company in the aerospace & defense industry, based in Stockton, CA, who is actively searching for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to work onsite for an opportunity paying $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 annual salary, based on experience. This hands-on role provides crucial technical support to Production Operations, involving the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes, detailed work instructions, special tooling/equipment, and production floor support required for assembling and overhauling a variety of LRUs and full jet engines. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to interpret engineering requirements from design data models, drawings, and specifications, conduct detailed failure analysis, develop root cause solutions, and implement corrective actions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with a high level of mechanical aptitude, are essential.

Requirements of the Manufacturing Engineer:

• 3 – 5 years of experience in a related field
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline (Master's degree is a plus)
• Demonstrated ability to work from prints, sketches, planning, or verbal instructions
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and wiring diagrams
• Experience with CAD software
• Working knowledge/experience with turbine engine assembly process methods and work instructions
• Familiarity with AS9100/9110 industry standards and common military specifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Manufacturing background with automation and shop floor experience
  
  
  

Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer:

• Provide technical support for production operations, including the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes
• Develop and implement detailed work instructions and production travelers
• Design and utilize special tooling/equipment necessary for production
• Conduct detailed failure analysis and develop root cause solutions
• Implement corrective/preventative actions as needed
• Collaborate with team members and demonstrate strong technical writing and presentation skills
