Receptionist

Job Overview:

   Reports to: Regional Finance Manager

    Location: Seattle, WA 

    Type:  Full-Time 

     Schedule: 1st 

Valence Surface Technologies production is open 24 hours per day. All shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday – Friday, 5:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday – Friday, 1:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.), 3rd shift (Sunday – Friday, 9:00 p.m. - 5:30 a.m.)

Essential Functions:

• Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the phone; answering or referring inquiries. 
• Directs visitors to the appropriate company personnel; making sure all customers entering the building are given badges and Valence host is notified. 
• Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and guidelines. 
• Respects confidentiality in discussing participant/customer(s), employee(s), volunteer(s), and organizational matters. 
• Assist with purchase order requests.
• Assist with daily invoicing 
• Distribute, receive, and instruct application process for job seekers.
• Collect and distribute mail to the correct recipients  
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience: None

Valid Drivers License

Work Environment

Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions. Due to the manufacturing environment, Personal Protection Equipment may be required including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and a respirator (provided by Company).
