Responsibilities
The function of the Expressive Therapies Clinical Liaison position is to provide clinical support and direction in meeting treatment needs of persons served, providing clinical oversight and input in the treatment plan process, updating clinical documentation, and ensure effective and efficient delivery of care in compliance with state, federal, and grant expectations in the Expressive Therapies program. Additionally, the position will provide a strength based clinical approach to case conceptualization and treatment implementation; provide coverage for immediate needs within the CSS programs as needed. This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with some flexibility in providing evening or weekend services.
The goals of the program are to provide solution-focused art and music therapy services to assist adults with mental illness in increasing community tenure and reaching toward therapeutic goals.
Job Requirements
This position requires a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy, other expressive therapy field (music, drama, horticulture, dance, etc.), or Creative Arts Therapy with national registration as an art therapist preferred (ATR or ATR-BC). Appropriate registration or credentialing for an expressive therapies field OR working toward post-grad registration (ATR) is required. Additionally, the position requires the current Kansas licensure to meet eligibility for Title XIX and other 3rd party insurance reimbursement for psychotherapy services. Experience working with the SPMI population and background in facilitating groups preferred. A valid Kansas Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance is required, as the position requires providing transportation to clients. Must be able to perform day-to-day physical requirements of the position, including approximately 3 hours of data entry per shift, frequently moving around the building and community through each shift, ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed and utilize various art materials.

$55,452 - $69,326 - $83,158
