VPA has a unique opportunity for a Valet Parking Shift Supervisor in Worcester, MA - this is a FT role, Monday-Friday from 3pm-11pm.
The Shift Supervisor will supervise the daily operation of a busy Valet Parking & Transportation service at a medical facility in Worcester. This will involve supervising up to 10 employees.
The listed pay includes a base rate and estimated tips. The ideal candidate will also work as a Valet Attendant while on shift.

Qualifications Required
- Management or Leadership experience
- Basic computer proficiency
- Own reliable transportation
- Demonstrated ability to make smart decisions in stressful situations
Essential functions and responsibilities:
- Manage Valet Parking operations for cars each day
- Monitoring and management of up to 10 employees daily activities
- Handle cash and work with parking equipment
- Enforcing company policy and ensuring drivers are following laws
- Working with hospital staff and supervisors
- Reviewing cameras and assisting with the initial processing of claims
- Assist fellow Management with daily administrative duties

Job Requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to drive a standard transmission vehicle to the satisfaction of management
Have your own transportation (driving experience)
Have experience working in customer service
Must have a good driving record
Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
Both written and verbal communication.
Duties and responsibilities
To maintain a professional image for our client establishment
To assist any and all patrons in any way we can
To park their vehicle in a safe manner, ensuring its safety at all times
To run back to the valet station as quickly as possible, ensuring that customers will not have to wait for service
To get along well with their coworkers and enjoy their job
Physical demands
Standing at least 8 hours a day
Running up to 50 times a day or more
Entering and exiting customers vehicles 75 or more times daily
Lifting wheelchairs, strollers, walkers, baggage, gifts, etc. (in and out of customers vehicles)
Communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
Work environment - Outdoors for the duration of the shift. Inclement weather (hot, cold, precipitation, etc) will have a significant impact on the employees work environment. Shifts will not be canceled due to inclement weather and all employees will be required to attend their scheduled shifts, and maintain a high quality of work despite weather conditions.
