Job Title: Quality Lab Assistant
Location: On-site, Findlay, Ohio
Department: Quality
Reports To: Quality Supervisor
Shift/Schedule: Daytime 7:30am - 4:00pm; 8-hour shift: Monday-Friday
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Review, update, and maintain laboratory procedures, work instructions, and test methods.
- Perform revalidation activities on warehouse products, customer returns, and block items.
- Assist laboratory inspectors with blocking product (narrowing suspect lot, testing, and disposition).
- Responsible for maintaining the Quality hold area to ensure items are disposed of in a timely manner.
- Control of laboratory KPI’s through daily collection and summarizing (includes monitoring production results through Power Bi).
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and order of laboratory area.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2 years of Quality experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of laboratory/quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in SAP/ERP and familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, and Power Bi.
- Auditing experience is required, along with knowledge of quality systems (ISO/SQF).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
