What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy Program Manager- F16-Operations position at VALIANT INTEGRATED SERVICES?
Valiant is seeking a skilled Program Manager with F-16 Instructor Pilot expertise to support activities in the Aviation Readiness portfolio, for the Air Force F-16V and Block 70/72 Maintenance and Pilot Differences Training for International customers and other similar tasking as assigned. The Deputy Program Manager will report to the F-16V and Block 70/72 Maintenance and Pilot Differences Training Program Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Assist the PM to drive the performance of the programs including scope, Task Order response, risks, sub-contractor relationships contract delivery results, schedule, and Customer satisfaction to deliver successful results.
- Provides day-to-day administration of the business through matrix reporting relationships with F&A, IT, HR, Compliance and Legal.
- Participates in interviews and recruitment of key professional and operational personnel for direct reports.
- Participate in coordination with Government Contracting Officer Representative to deliver Task Order Aircraft Systems/operational procedures instruction in the classroom, simulator, and/or practical environments to international F-16 customers.
- Assist in directing Pilot and Maintenance Subject Matter Experts (SME) in development of Training Needs Assessments, Mobilization Tasks, as well as required training methods and media (training devices, curriculum for new types of courses).
- May provide additional special services such as course ware review, and scenario development as well as other additional administrative duties such as publications, safety, quality audits, scheduling, security, and other assigned duties.
- Assist in overseeing the operation and development of training devices such as Handheld Training Devices (HTDs), Desktop Trainers (DTTs), Part Task Trainers (PTTs), and Mission Training Devices (MTDs) in support of syllabus training events and basic mission events.
- Perform administrative duties such as Mobilization per Task Order, CDRL tracking and completion, scheduling, record keeping, monitoring student progress, quality assurance, safety, security, and maintenance of training programs and equipment.
- Manages overall health of projects. Mentor others on the identification, categorization, and prioritization of risks. Analyzes risks and escalates as appropriate to senior leadership executive management with recommendations.
- Prepare reports as required by management. Other duties as assigned.
- 25% travel expected.
