Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating complex systems and processes to support defense projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the success of critical defense programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and evaluate system requirements, capabilities, and performance parameters to support defense projects and initiatives.
• Conduct requirements elicitation and analysis sessions with stakeholders to define system requirements and objectives, and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Develop and maintain system requirements documents, including system specifications, use cases, and functional requirements.
• Perform system modeling, simulation, and analysis using modeling tools and techniques to assess system behavior and performance.
• Identify and analyze system risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies and action plans to address them.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to identify opportunities for system improvements and enhancements, and develop recommendations for implementation.
• Conduct system testing and validation activities to ensure that systems meet specified requirements and quality standards.
• Provide technical expertise and support to project teams and stakeholders on system analysis and evaluation best practices, techniques, and methodologies.
• Document system analysis processes, methodologies, and results, and prepare technical reports and presentations for project reviews and presentations.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in systems analysis and evaluation, and apply them to project work.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in systems analysis and evaluation, preferably in a defense or aerospace environment.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, processes, and methodologies.
• Experience with systems modeling and simulation tools and techniques, such as SysML, UML, or MBSE.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop innovative solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

• Certification in systems engineering or related field
• Experience with systems engineering tools and software, such as DOORS, Cameo Systems Modeler, or MagicDraw.
• Familiarity with defense acquisition processes and regulations, including DoDI 5000.02 and the Defense Acquisition Guidebook.
• Knowledge of system architecture principles and practices, including system-of-systems and enterprise architecture concepts.
• Previous experience with agile development methodologies and practices.
