About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Content Marketer to join our team in our Boston office!
As a Content Marketer at Validity, you’ll create content that brings the Validity story to life, working closely with the brand experience, product marketing, and demand gen teams to grow our brand and our business.
The Content Marketer will join the brand experience team at Validity, which owns all aspects of corporate and brand communications, including internal and external comms, PR, content marketing, organic social media, creative, and web.
In this role, you will work closely with our Senior Content Marketing Manager to manage Validity’s editorial calendar and create innovative content to nurture leads and drive revenue growth. This is an exciting opportunity to help build and scale our global content strategy and contribute to the company’s growth.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with writing content in a variety of formats and targeted for specific personas. A creative mindset and the drive to test new strategies, platforms, and content formats is essential!
Our team currently has a hybrid work schedule that includes three days in the office per week.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
- Research and write quality content in a variety of formats, which could include blogs, guides, case studies, checklists, marketing emails, sales cadences, and web copy.
- Own Validity’s social media strategy and presence to grow our audience on LinkedIn and Twitter. Maintain an active presence on G2 and respond to product reviews.
- Develop an employee social media advocacy program to educate Validity employees on best practices and drive engagement
- Copyedit content written by various team members, including SMEs, product management, product marketing, and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and research subjects for content that will inspire target audiences and drive awareness for Validity.
- Support Validity’s monthly thought leadership webinars and podcasts, with the opportunity to lead these initiatives in the future.
- Write and optimize content according to current best SEO practices.
- Use Google Analytics, Salesforce, and other tools to measure how content is performing and make updates to strategy based on this data.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education
- 2-3 years of marketing experience, with at least two years in a role with writing as a key responsibility (B2B content, communications, journalism, product marketing, etc.).
- Excellent writing ability (fast, accurate, and high-quality output) and impeccable attention to detail, including excellent grammar and copyediting skills.
- A very organized approach to project management, ability to build, maintain, and improve internal processes that others will follow.
- The ability to work on multiple projects at once and prioritize as needed.
- Experience working closely with internal stakeholders from demand generation, design, and web operations teams.
- Experience with social media management.
- Experience with the B2B SaaS business model.
- Drive to chase down and understand new topics, including highly technical subject matter.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, WordPress, Canva, Marketo, a plus.
- Experience with video creation and marketing a plus.
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, or related field.
